MMS Backpack Policy

Backpacks

● Students are not allowed to carry backpacks during the school day.

● All backpacks must be put in the student’s locker at the start of each day.

● Students may carry a small purse, drawstring bag, cross body bag, or fanny pack for small personal items.

MMS Backpack Policy

Backpacks, tote bags, and string bags must be kept in students’ lockers throughout the duration of the day unless students have a medical or otherwise approved and documented reason to have one.

● Students may transport clothes and sneakers for Physical Education and Dance in a drawstring bag on the way to/from PE class.

● Please remember students maintain a locker in PE, so clothes can be kept there and taken home when necessary for cleaning.

● Students may keep a small bag or purse with them for personal items. 

● Students are allowed to go to their lockers during the following times:

-Before/After school

-Before/After lunch

-Before Physical Education

Students may not share lockers or locker combinations. Please do not store food items in lockers. Food items must be taken out daily otherwise this is a health hazard.
