SOMSD Food Services Information

 

The MMS breakfast program takes place from 7:30-8:00 am in the MMS cafeteria (enter on Maple Ave). The first day of the breakfast program is Monday, September 9, 2024 as determined by the Food Services Department.

 

Lunch service will begin on the first day of school! Please note the bell period schedule below with the new order of periods for lunch!

 

You can now complete an Online Free and Reduced Price School Meal Household Application. OneSource Online Instant Processor application entry makes it easy and convenient to apply for meal benefits for your child(ren).  Simply enter the requested information as accurately as possible, and all data will be instantly and securely sent to your child(ren)'s school district for processing.

There are several options to complete the application – online or by printing the application (see links below), completing it & returning it to the district.  Please see below for more information.

Ways to Submit Applications: 

  1. Fill out the Application Online (see link below)
  2. Print and Mail:  Download the application below and mail it to the Administration Building, Attn:  Business Office, 525 Academy Street, Maplewood, NJ, 07040 (faxed applications will not be accepted)
  3. Pick-Up:  Families can pick up paper applications from their schools

Food Service Payments & Applications At PaySchools Central

 

The District is launching a new way for families to manage food services for their children. The new PaySchools Central online platform will allow families to deposit funds for their children’s meals at school. Applications for free and reduced lunch can also be submitted on PaySchools Central. To register for your PaySchools Central account, please click on the following link: https://payschoolscentral.com/. You will need your child’s student identification number. The website can be displayed in English and Spanish.
