MMS School Hours and Bell Schedules
Normal School Hours are 8:20am - 2:45pm with a conference period from 2:45-3:14pm. The conference period begins promptly at 2:45pm and is part of the school day. Dismissal is at 3:14pm. This time is important. We ask that you do not schedule conflicting family events when our teachers need to provide small group support and community building time with our students
Doors open at 8:12am. First period begins at 8:20am. School doors open at 8:12am. Students may begin waiting at their entrance at 8:00am.
School Arrival/Dismissal
The school parking lots and driveways should not be used by parents during drop off and pickup. On street parking must be used for those that drive. Please pay attention to town rules and 1 way signage/barricades on Burnet and Maple. U and K turns are not permitted as per the township of Maplewood.
*Please do not park in street spaces labeled 'MMS faculty permit required' when dropping of your children. Our teachers need to park and get ready for the day!
Where does my student enter the building?

Grade 6
|
On the Baker Street side of the building. High up on the hill where it’s flat. Students should stand near the school. They stand with Ms. Gronau! *There's a video on Instagram to help you! |

|
On the Maple Ave. side of the building. Students enter through the courtyard. They stand with Mr. Kassalow! |

Grade 8
|
On the Burnet St. side of the building at the main entrance. They stand with Mr. Brown! |
Early Dismissal Days occur for Professional Development or on days like Back to School Night, etc.
Delays Openings occur due to inclement weather or emergency circumstances.
