The Maplewood Middle School HSA PeloFUNd Ride is happening next Sunday, February 11th anytime between 7am and 2pm. This is a fun no cost fundraiser which helps support very important school social and enrichment events which enhance learning and experiences for all of our students.
This is a virtual event. Please spread the word! If you have a Peloton Bike and/or have someone in your life who does, please consider joining us on the leaderboard next Sunday #MMSPeloFUNdRide.
No bike? No problem. You can still register and run, ride, hike, bike, or walk on your own and join us in spirit. If you are not available next Sunday please still consider donating and doing your own run, ride, hike, bike ride, or walk anytime throughout the week.

Dr. Gilbert Listening Tours
If you missed this week’s Listening Tour session with Dr. Gilbert, acting superintendent of the South Orange & Maplewood School District, there are two more upcoming sessions.

Registration is not required, but it is appreciated.
Dr. Gilbert is hoping to hear answers from the District’s families to a few questions:
- What do you think is working well in the District?
- What are some of the challenges families face in the District, and how could the District do better in supporting families?
- What is something that you wish we knew?

MMS Trivia Night is a Success!

MMS Trivia Night Volunteers Needed
The HSA needs your help with Trivia Night, Friday, 2/2 at The Woodland in Maplewood. Sign up here to volunteer. There are roles for set-up in the afternoon, clean-up and running the event. It will be a great time for a great cause.
MMS SuperBowl Sunday PeloFUNdraiser is Back!
Join the MMS HSA for the third annual PeloFUNd ride on Super Bowl Sunday February 11th. Hop on your Peloton Bike OR use the Peloton App on an alternate indoor bike and join the MMS HSA community on the leaderboard anytime between 7am and 2pm. Complete one ride or several rides. Challenge yourself and move towards your fitness goals while raising critical funds for our school.
Not a fan of indoor workouts? No problem, head outside to bike, run, hike, or walk. Not available on Sunday 2/11? Please still consider joining the challenge. Complete your ride, walk, run, or any workout throughout the week of February 12th. All fundraising proceeds will be collected throughout the week until Monday, February 19th.
Registration fee is a suggested $25 per person (any donation is appreciated). If you would like an added challenge consider pledging a dollar amount per mile. Ride 10, 25, or 50+ miles and attach a dollar amount for each mile ridden.
Peloton members please check out the class set list (emailed out to all registrants on Friday 2/9 and then again on Sunday 2/11). Log on to your Peloton bike or App and switch your hashtag #MMSPeloFUNdRide, high five your teammates and have fun. Keep track of your total miles, and update Registration Form at end of day.
We are looking to move, have fun, and raise funds for our school. All proceeds go to fund programming, events, and materials at Maplewood Middle School.

CHS Parent Academy Workshop for 8th Graders
Parents of 8-12 Grade Students; Join CHS Staff for Parent Academy an Evening of CHS Staff-Led Workshops Monday, March 4, 7-9pm.
We surveyed the issues most often brough to the Counseling Center and created Parent Workshops focusing on these important concerns. Each workshop is led by the staff members working on these issues with your children.
Please choosy two of the six workshops:
Session 1: 7:00-7:55pm
Session 2: 8:00-9:00pm
