MMS Teacher Appreciation Week

Teacher Appreciation Week is in FULL SWING! The lawn signs and student note-writing table went up Monday! (Remind your kids to write a few!) Tatooine Treat Bar was a HIT on Tuesday! Today, the teachers cleared out the Skywalker School Supply Station in a little more than an HOUR! We are also drawing names for T-shirts in preparation for tomorrow’s big MAY THE FOURTH (Be With You) TEACHER/STAFF LUNCHEON!
A big THANK YOU to all the parents for donating supplies, baked goods, and your time. The teachers are LOVING their special week! — thank you to Sunshine Committee Chairs Jennifer Roszell and Malia Rulon Herman

MMS HSA Loves our Paras

We're celebrating Paraprofessional Appreciation Day this week! We are grateful for their hard work, commitment to and compassion for the children in our district. Some students require the supplementary support of a paraprofessional, which is written into their Individualized Education Program or Section 504 Plan.

Click here to learn more about how paraprofessionals support SOMSD students

So, the next time you see a para, be sure to say THANK YOU!
