Informal, in-person gatherings to connect with other parents and caregivers of kids with Special Education-related needs in our district. Our April Cup Chats will focus on two areas: middle school and high school on April 7th and out-of-district schools on April 26th. CHS In Action 4/11 (for 8th Graders & Families)

The CHS Student Council annually hosts "CHS in Action Night" in April. This year, School in Action Night is scheduled for Thursday, April 11th, from 6-9 p.m. 

 

The mission of "CHS in Action" Night is to present all that Columbia High School has to offer rising ninth graders, families, and the community at large. Participating clubs will display posters, demos, slideshows, etc., to highlight their club's work and sign-up sheets for incoming students who may be interested in joining their organization in the fall of 2024.

CHS Course Selections Deadline 3/11

The 2024-25 SY Program of Studies has been finalized. Click here to view. 

The COURSE REQUEST PORTAL is NOW OPEN!  Students must log in to their PowerSchool accounts and follow the "Class Registration" process directly through there.  Click here for step by step instructions. 

 

The deadline to submit requests is MARCH 11.  After the portal closes, any changes must be made through the student's individual school counselor and WILL NOT be able to be altered on the student or parent end.

 

If there are any questions related to the course available, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to your school counselor, Ms. Battle at abattle@somsd.k12.nj.us and she will be able to provide guidance.
