Did you know that MMS has a fantastic courtyard and an area with raised garden beds?

The Springfest Committee needs volunteers to help clean up these and other areas of the outdoor space at MMS before Springfest (weeding, raking, light gardening)

MMS HSA Loves our Paras

We're celebrating Paraprofessional Appreciation Day this week! We are grateful for their hard work, commitment to and compassion for the children in our district. Some students require the supplementary support of a paraprofessional, which is written into their Individualized Education Program or Section 504 Plan.

Ramadan is 3/22 - 4/21

Ramadan takes place March 22-April 21st. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting from sun up to sundown. It’s a sacred time of reflection for Muslims and the spirit of giving and gratitude for what you have and to share with those less fortunate.

Note that SOMSD Schools will be CLOSED in observance of Eid al-Fitr on Friday, April 21.

8th Grade Mixer is THIS Thursday, 3/31

The annual MMS/SOMS 8th Grade Mixer is THIS THURSDAY, March 30 from 4-6pm in the CHS Cafeteria. This FREE event will have a DJ, Games, snacks and opportunities to socialize!

Tuesday, 3/21 is a 4-hr Day

Reminder that TOMORROW, TUESDAY, 3/21 is a 4-hour day due to Professional Development. Students will be dismissed at 12:30pm. Breakfast is available, but LUNCH WILL NOT BE SERVED. Students will operate on an early dismissal bell schedule.
